The center mounted and softly lit analogue level meter is meticulously detailed like a fine timepiece. It is both functional and a fitting homage to early Marantz pieces. While substantial in stature, AMP 10 is elegantly constructed with steel and aluminum casework and knobs. The subtle texture molded into the front panel is lit by the dimmable soft glow of sidelights on either side of the control surface.

While each of the 16 channels can operate independently, channel pairs can also be switched into bi-amp mode for isolating frequency bands from each other or switched into BTL mode to produce up to 400 watts per channel into 8 ohms for your highest output demands.

Gold plated RCA and high-grade XLR connectors accept audio input from most surround processors. Custom Marantz SPK 1+ binding posts are ergonomic and provide the best possible coupling to loudspeaker cables. Low-distortion, high-power output provides ample drive to virtually any loudspeaker configuration to maximize performance in any room.

Using an included cable, control and status information from AMP 10 can be transmitted to AV 10 making network control and automation simple. Further, RS232 and DC trigger inputs are available to make automating AMP 10 with a home control system possible.
